Events

As new owners of the Bed & Breakfast on Tiffany Hill, Craig and I have wanted to use our resources to serve a much larger cause than ourselves. The first of our events will be a Freedom Dinner, held on September 19, 2024. This event is especially for those in our local community: as much as we enjoy hosting guests at the B&B, we want to ingrain ourselves in our community as well, and this is a wonderful opportunity to do so!

Kelly and Aaron Welk of @ciderpresslane have been hosting these dinners for years, and they have chosen Tiffany Hill as a location to start spreading these dinners to new communities.

Freedom Dinners fight sex slavery & human trafficking. Freedom Dinners do raise an enormous amount of funds to help, but they are not a fundraising event. They are the most beautiful and powerful community dinner.

How does that work? Freedom Dinners are very unique events: everyone is a volunteer - including the hosts! Everything served and used to decorate is donated. Everyone reserving a seat at the table gives a donation directly to @atlasfree so that every penny raised can go directly to the women and children who need freedom the most.

We have plenty of seats available, so help us spread the word. Come join us for the most beautiful evening being surrounded by community and fighting to end human trafficking!

If you have a connection or contact of someone who might like to donate (we are looking for serving volunteers, kitchen help, donations of food, and creatives who might like to participate), we would love to be introduced. Plus we would simply love to have you join us at the table!

Come join us on September 19 to benefit @atlasfree! Tickets are now open for purchase.

Here’s how the Freedom Dinner reservation process works:

  • Call us at 828-290-6080 or reach us through our Contact Us button to ‘purchase’ your tickets. You will not be charged from our shop but we will take your reservation information.

  • Check your email! You’ll be emailed instructions on how to give your donation for your seats. Your seats are not reserved until your donation is given.

  • We suggest a donation of $100 or more to reserve a seat at the table, but we know every budget is different: our number one goal is to gather our community. Give what you can knowing that the ripple effect goes far beyond this one dinner.

  • Donations are non refundable, but if your schedule does not allow you to attend, please gift your seats to a friend and send me an email letting me know!

These dinners are not about one person doing it all, they are about everyone doing what they do best. When we invite people to help in a way they love creating, we give them a place to connect their heart to purpose.

Beyond the amazing impact these dinners have on the fight against human trafficking, they also have a profound effect on our community. Everyone is waiting for an invitation to find meaning and purpose in their everyday life. Everyone is waiting for an invitation to make a difference.

When we openly invite our community to create a dinner together we are also opening the door for people to connect. And when we have a chance to do life together we realize we are not so different after all.
